I looked at my blank toned gray notebook and said, "there must be a vampire there. But not just any vampire. A vampire in transformation." Certain strains of folklore claim vampires can transform into mist or fog. I figured an especially cool, cheeky vampire might hide from hunters in plain sight by vaporizing, dropping into a water glass, and only leaving their fangs exposed, posing as dentures. Yes, I've thought about this before.
