The Halloween Launch

The Halloween Launch

Welcome to spooky season.

Okay, that’s a lie. Spooky season is a year-long celebration at Sketching Details.

I digress.

Let’s set the mood. It’s August. Record-breaking heatwaves are sweeping the United States and other nations in the Northern Hemisphere. The asphalt on the road is so hot you can fry your breakfast on it. In NJ, a media critic and arts educator prays his brief trips to and from the car will not cause his pale skin to burst into flame even with SPF 100 on.

You can hear the siren call in the distance. “Halloween is coming.”

The Etsy store now has the first round of the Halloween product launch for the season. This is the first time in years I’m offering homemade decorations for sale online. Last time I did this, I had quite the cottage industry building custom foam tombstones for your home haunting needs. Sadly, my wrists do not allow me to mass produce individually carved foam insulation props anymore, so those custom listings will not return.

I do have a variety of hand painted plaster, ceramic, and wood decorations for your home haunt needs.

These wooden haunted houses are available in green, orange, and purple varieties. They are made to order, though the three store samples would be able to ship out straight away.

The rest are one of a kind listings.

This light up plaster haunted house is almost too cute to part with.

This glazed (not food safe) ceramic mummy candle holder looks great with a safe for everyone LED tea light (not included).

And who could resist the charm of ceramic sad mummy hours in the graveyard?

Ceramic Mummy Graveyard $25

There is also a new line of print on demand products adapted from the otherrobert Twitch emotes. Yes, I have Halloween emotes year round on the Twitch. The gag was supposed to be switching to cartoon versions of my face in October, but I’d rather keep the adorable pumpkins.

As always, any apparel items are offered in a wide range of sizes for the same price. All hoodies are available in S-5XL in each color.

I’m working on having the Etsy shop natively appear on this site. For now, you can see the full Halloween collection at the Etsy store. The gallery links to each listing.

Happy haunting.
